About Tiemann Investment Advisors, LLC

JTBedford3Dr. Jonathan Tiemann and Valerie Gardner co-founded Tiemann Investment Advisors, LLC (TIA) in 2002 to provide an academically-informed, institutional-caliber investment management service to private investors and foundations.  When the internet bubble collapsed in 2001, a large percentage of high tech entrepreneurs and other wealthy investors found themselves with portfolios that were substantially deflated as result of poor diversification, virtually no structure and excessive leverage.  Most of those painful losses could have been avoided had these investors been properly advised by an investment expert.  Tiemann and Gardner combined forces to create a new form of investment service—one that enables the client to have ready access to the investment expert—rather than a sales person, which allows the client to get all of their questions answered.  TIA has leveraged a range of custom and off-the-shelf technologies which enable it to maintain the highest-caliber, concierge-style investment management service—yet do so at a competitive price.
